Where do you source your ink cartridges for the Canon IP4200? Looking
around, they seem to be about £10 each and the printer takes 5 of them. I
might as well bung in a couple of crispy orange notes and buy a new
    fucking printer!

Oh sure, it's just that because one is low I decided to have a look
    around.
£50 or more for the ink when a new 4200 printer is only £70 just doesn't
seem right. News at ten: life no fair shocker.

Allegedly a lot of printers are sold these days with 'get you by' cartridges
that aren't full, or don't have the capacity of the replacements you then
have to buy. Of course, this could just all be conspiracy theory bollocks.

    As a Dell certified engineer!
They most certainly sell a new printer with part filled carts on the laser
route for sure. they clearly admit as such on their documentation.
But, bearing in mind, the colour laser printers are 'bloody cheap' and
    damned good, for the money.

Well duh, of course. But I got side swiped because I looked at the 4000
first, where the ink is cheap as chips. Went to buy one, found they're
not made, saw the 4200 instead, didn't recheck the ink, etc, etc. Best
stop there, before I get called Rope.
Oh you meant it literally, I expected more from you. Honestly, the
standard of insults in this place has gone right downhill.
