As I'm now a window licker and confined to the Mongmobile (Meriva....... oh
the SHAME) for at least a month then possibly it is time to get the Porker
rear bumper sorted and the two dinged alloys painted, and the one you
painted before that's peeling repainted and the car generally returned to As
    New.

I can't drive it through however!

The Meriva is quiet, quick enough for a 1600, alarming handling compared to
a 911 though and over sharp brakes with a dreadful slush box. It just really
    really isn't me.

Still, it isn't the nissan micra they had as an alternative.

It seemed such a straightforward request. One specially adapted Cayenne or
Rangie Sport. I guess it's the insurance!

The Montego was the cross country tool of choice when I worked at BAe
Brough. They were mercilessly thrashed across the M62 daily to Warton.

They were replaced by 216/418's etc, but they weren't as reliable ...

Nothing much to brag about I am afraid. I parked it next to a tree
which then disappeared into my blind spot when I drove off, whilst
    turning left.

The passenger side doors are pretty fucked.

I had the use of a Montego Turbo for running around London many years ago.
The power delivery seemed to have been designed around a 4-hour OLA. I'd
floor it, it would trundle on imperturbably until it was sure it nearly too
late, then make the jump to lightspeed.

No, no, you have got it all wrong. The tree "came out of nowhere" and
sideswiped you. You suspect that it skidded on diesel. It is NEVER the
    ukrmers fault.

They didn't. Perkins oversaw the project.
