assumed the WIP was asking if there's space on the French Run.

There isn't. There really, really isn't, unless someone drops out.

 

I was asking about ferries, I knew the hotel was full, but the next
one along isn't. It all depends on work, weather and will.

I was going to say 'if they do I'll have their bed', then realised I
could end up sharing with a snorer.

 

It's OK - I have a single room and I doubt Dodger's Linda will drop out
without him, iyswim.

I should have known, you being a "larger gentleman", an' all.

 

Moi aussi, though that doesn't always help, I've had people in the next
room (or even the one after that) complain in the past.

 

How thin are the walls? Will I need earplugs or should I nail the bed to
the floor to stop it shuddering across the floor?

 

I suggest sir sorts himself out with one of the UKRM rubinesque females [1]
to weight the bed down... QED
