Hey Betty ... Was that you on the weekend just gone around port macquarie
with 3 or 4 others. I thought I saw an elf on a gs500 go past around lake
cathie. (just coming off houston mitchell, or the ghost road as the locals
    call it)

If it was I went past you on the slver GSXF with a pillion passenger. I was
going to turn around and say gday, but since you wouldnt know me from a bar
of soap I thought better of it *grin* (I a mate of yeeboks and he told me
you were heading up this way)

    Cheers

Bugger! Wish you'd said hello! That would most definitely have been me on my
way back from the Ride from Hell. We went to Ellenborough Falls - miles and
miles of really horrible dirt road - and it was the most frightening ride
I've ever been on. I had more fun when I crashed the GPX, that's how awful
it was!!! I was feeling very drained and miserable, and on my way to the
bottle-shop to pick up some nice restorative red when you went past.

Hoping to be back up that way in November for a 50th birthday (not mine
<grin>) Maybe see you then and we can drag Yeebok out for a ride!

I know how you felt. Rode up from Goulburn to Bathurst via Oberon and it was
like I expected to come of at every corner. Some corners had miles of sand
and others just had small sharp rocks..... it was no fun at all.

Don't knock the 2nd highest single drop water fall in the world!

how was the water, great swimming ontop their :)

and ive got lots of family up in Elands. shudder

they wanted to make it all tar all the way up, but the locals really
protested over it, shame, would be a top riding road if they tared it from
Wingham to Glouster. (mind you they are secretly doing it, its tared up to
bobin and half of it tared up to the T.

    Me here Guest

It's time you did the Gbn to Bx ride again. Only two patches of gravel now. One
is 2 1/2 kms of freshly graded and ready to be sealed roadbase, and the other is
5 kms of original quality dirt/rock etc. Not too long before it's all done,
    hopefully.
