    Does anyone know if the fuel tanks are the same on a K75 as on a K100?

    a mate has a baglux cover for sale but he says he bought it when he had his
    K75, I was wondering if it will fit my K100?

    I know i could just "pop" round and try it, but as he lives 137 miles away,
    this isn't really an option on a cold sunday evening.

    TIA

    I think so. But I wouldn't guarantee it. 95% sure.

    was seen penning the following ode to ... whatever:
    Same here. I've just checked the motorworks catalogue and they list
    the same genuine BMW bag for the K75 & K100.

    Thanks Timo, I thought they were more or less the same.
    Tank bag will hopefully cover up my scratched tank.

    274 miles on a nice crisp and clear Sunday evening, lovely,
    get on your bike. Or would you rather watch "The Royal"?

    :)

    The HBoL says the K75 holds 21 litres and the K100 holds 22 litres

    <thinks>
    The frames are all but identical but my recollection of the unfaired 75 and
    100 is the front of the tank being slightly different in shape at the
    bottom. Cover should probably fit though.
