Then that's sloppy management by Egg. How the **** are Linux/Mac users
    meant to access their site?

You can do everything on your Egg account with any browser - you just
can't use the facility that links in any other accounts.

Seamonkey (witrh the Multizilla extension) also lets you move tabs to
    new windows.

I'm curious - why would you want to do that?

I'm not sure that's true anymore, I can think of a few corporates that
are using it in anger, or at least moderate disgruntlement.

Corporates are unlikely to bank with Egg.

Apparently it's because you can separate the windows into individual
processes. If I understood the comic well.

But why would a user want to drag a tab into a separate window?

Because they want to be able to see two tabs simultaneously...?

    With a 22" one you can see two full-size A4 sheets side-by-side
    anyway.

I was just about to mention that, but there you go. Mine's only got a

Naah, this is the one I have at work. I've not done home comuters for
quite a few years now - the work laptop doe the job nicely enough and
I've got a 220Gb USB disk for NSFW content.
    Silver, this one is.

Guess what happens when you use Chrome to access NWOLB...

Actually don't bother guessing, I'll tell you. It works.

after having had a brown trouser movement in which they inexplicably
changed their T&Cs (see el reg) where "all your images are belong to
us" to "err maybe not" very promptly

    seems OK
