I'm going to watch it and see. I've just got rid of one SOBWM mind, so
    I really ought not to.
Well, if something mad happens and I buy it, you might have to pick it
    up for me.

Has the UKRM underground railway delivered a whole bike before?

You really can't tell yet - all the bidding happens in the last two
minutes and I'd expect that to sell for between two and three times its
    current price of £600-odd.

I'd be concerned about the ABS. Might just be a warning light fault -
might be more. Non-functioning ABS is an MOT failure too, and bloody
expensive to sort out sometimes. Hog's your man here.

The wayward speedo is another problem. I've watched Hog dismantle a K
    series instrument console and it's a right bugger - I wouldn't touch
    one myself.

But worth a punt at £1500.

PS bad form, etc .. often the ABS warning fault is nothing more than the
batteries gone flat and the ABS computer needs resetting, simple enough
    task.

Of course if it's really bust then it can get expensive .....

Quite simply, give or take the ABS1, the best K model you can buy. The
blue/white special with all black ally is just *the one to have*

ABS is usually easy to fix, as is the speedo, if not the breakers are
    full of parts.

If it were 6 months ago I would have snapped it up, assuming the bidding
doesn't go silly.....but it might, lots of people know. Most K's are
hugely overvalued by the owners, if this one is really clean close up
    it's £2k worth

I'd have suspected they'd be out of ABS1 bits but I'll take your word for it
given (thankfully) I've not had any probs so far.
Phew ... makes me happier ... mine's clean and I'd sort of hoped it would be
    somewhere twixt 1500 to 2000.

    TOG@toil, ,
Well, I had a bike with ABS MoT'd recently; they said the ABS indicator
    being on didn't matter.
