What happened with that Google thing? I've been approached but I'm not
sure whether it's genuine or not.

 

It appears that it was. Timo has a mate that checked out if the guy
worked for Google and it appears that it was above board.

I've not gone any further, as I don't really want to up sticks and
leave France (it wasn't on one of the seven worldwide locations
proposed to me).

The contact name for me was S Go.
