Do you want first option on the loan of a Manx payg sim card for when
you do the MGP? It's got very little credit on it but can be topped up
    online before you go.

If Champ doesn't want it then it's on offer to the first one to ask.
Just top it up, use it when you're there then post it back here so I
can use it next year. Calls from mobile to mobile over there are
fucking expensive so you'll save a few quid by changing over.

You're not wrong. It's a good job I was pissed and sitting down when I
looked at my recent bill that included the manx calls.

I used under £10 worth of phone credit in the time I was there and
Adies phone bill was about £50 higher than normal but that was for a
weekend trip to France and the trip to the IoM. Whoever it is that
gets the cash must love TT fortnight.

Take the work mobile. Not that I would condone such a blatant misuse
    of company property.

Hmm... my mobile, blackberry and data card bills came in for April at
just a little shy of 3k and I don't think I went anywhere remarkable in
    April.

Fortunately my employer picked that lot up.

    fx: shocked.

    Really? Wow.
What do they do when you're not in the office, wait until you are?

Not fucking sold. Did you miss the word "loan" when you read the post?

The way it works is that I post it to you, you use it whenever you go
to the IoM over the next couple of months, you post it back to me so I
can put credit on it and use it myself next year.

If you're doing the Jurby endurance race then hang on to it until
after that. The card has to be used or the cunts expire the number but
I'm not sure what the period of time is for this act of robbery. I was
going to phone my other number for a second or two every so often to
    avoid the issue.
I feel lucky that my phone didn't work when I got there.

    What do you mean "former"?

Organising the demise of capital is not cheap you know. They could do
with a healthy dose of unregulated competition like that nice man
    Friedrich Hayek says.

    That or a fucking bullet.

  10. Individual bullets are cheap, but when you need a million it gets
pricey. Even for bulk purchases - you have to play the capitalists'
    game. Ironic, really.

Courtesy of several large Tom Collins and smeared glasses, I read that
    as:

Hand to hand wombat... wtf? Oh!

I'm posting this from a glorious Travel Inn in Enfield. No more
    shitty £5/hour wireless for me.
    Ah, in that case WGAF.

[1] Not that I need this in Enfield Civic Centre as there are no less
than 12 unsecured wireless networks for me to choose from. Either
very altruistic or very stupid, either way I've resisted the
temptation to null session enum them so far.

    Grand Hotel, Torquay.

I'm posting this from the bar, with a cold beer, overlooking the sea.

I never have and never will post from a hotel bar. Bars are for
drinking in, not looking like a sad twat with no life.

in case you don't already know, if you're looking for a cheap boozer,
try The Goose at the George (stupid name) in the town centre.

Maybe neither. Perhaps they like to capture the data of those that think
    they're getting a freebie.

Have you actually tried using them though? They often just lead you to
    an authentication server.
If they are completely open it is still an offence to access it without
permission and the penalties can be severe.
