I was looking for Mark Williams and Roland Brown, but didn't see them
either. RB broke an engine: the chain snapped and took out the cases,
    so not his fault, really.

Remember the original chain had cut-outs in the links to save weight?
Not one of Kawasaki's brightest ideas.

  2. Jeez really? Well it was a 630 chain, but even so...

Is that the former Bike journo Mark 'Running Out Of Road' Williams?

  4. On a related note - have you had chance to fit that TPS you got off
    ebay?

I'm sometimes slightly worried at the amount of totally useless
motorcycle information and ephemera that I've got rattling around in
my skull. And how easily it's coaxed to the surface.

  7. Any chance of a loan to see if it's my TPS that's causing my dodgy idle?
Had a good poke around that area yesterday as I was re-routing some
vacuum pipes that were fouling the throttle mechanism and I can't see
anything that's either leaking or sticking, so replacing the TPS is my
    next move.

You think you have a problem? Your head is at least filled with
vaguely useful stuff, whereas mine is mostly related to bikes nobody
liked even when new, RDs included.

How fast do you think it was travelling when its frame was customised?
