  1. Glad you all got home okay. Enjoyed our little bimble around the
Peaks, but that was enough for me. See you next time.

You bet - and we'll see if we can't get rid of what's left of your
    chicken strips!

We liked Snake Pass, we did.

Thanks to Sean's efforts I was far too knackered to give it my all, but I
did enjoy the run a lot.
    Oh yes, very much so.

While I'm here I should also say a "thank you" to Darsy for letting me out
on his 'Blade (the first one I've ever ridden).

It's a great bike, but I assume that the braking system works in the
    following manner:

    1. The brake hoses are actually very long thin snakes held in place with
    cable-ties.

    2. When the rider squeezes the brake lever it nips the snake's tail,
    causing it some distress.

    3. In its anger the snake then bites the nearest thing, which happens to be
the brake-disc; this causes the bike to slow down.

I assume that because I have no other explanation for the violent hissing
that occurred every-time I used the "oh dear" lever.

  9. Warmer weather and a bit more confidence on the B12 should deal with
the chicken strips. Snake Pass was... interesting.

it is fairly loud, though as Champ says, all bikes do it a bit. I
think the only bike I've had that was louder than the 'blade in this
    regard was my old SZR.

I was basically thinking about the first time I rode it (apart from
riding it home after buying it) and was shocked to discover the front
wheel in the air all the time.
well, come down to a BOTAFOF run one Sunday morning, and you can have
    another go.
you definitely get used to it - I think it's probably the most
    comfortable sports bike I've owned.
it's rock fucking solid. Needs a service, though - it's running ever
so slightly rough at lower revs, and the brake fluid needs replacing.
I might actually go the whole hog and get braided hoses fitted as part
    of the service.
