unlikely. this popped up as a reminder in my diary so I thought i'd
    mention it.

only BRC, Stan Stannard and my mate Ste from another list remember my
birthday and that's only cos it matches theirs.

only just seen this - ta, though it's not easy sharing a birthdate with
    Pamela Smart.

Was off-internet most of last week, taking my Prince2 Foundation and
    Practicitioners course/exams.

New Hampshire murderess - on who's behaviour the book/film "To Die
    For" were based.
I passed the Foundation Exam - this is on the Wednesday afternoon, and
you aren't allowed to continue the course if you fail it; though given
    it's a 75-question multiple choice test with a 50% pass rate, hardly
    anyone fails it.

The Practitioner paper is a 3-hour 3-question free-form written exam,
and it goes away to get marked - should know in 8 weeks time (though
given that 2 out of the 3 questions where the sort I wanted, I will be
shocked and saddened if I fail).

    [Prince2 Exams]
Ah, yes, I remember now as an ex-colleague did it last year.

Is this something you did because you wanted to or did the
company want you to do it? And do you think it's worth it?

the former. I'm not a project manager (I'm a programme, technology and
resource manager), but I have people working for me who are.
    definitely.

Hmm, now I'm permie again and allegedly there's a training budget,
I will definitely bear it in mind. I can't/don't want to be a code
    monkey
    forever.

    Don't get the wrong idea - I don't necessarily think having had a 5
day course on Prince2 is "worth it", but having "Prince2 Certified
Practitioner" on my CV *definitely* is.
I haven't written a line of commerical code in well over two years and
    I don't regret it for a minute.

  12. It's looking as though I'll be getting "PMI certified" (or whatever the
appropriate form of words is) on mine soon.

is there a conversion from Prince you have to do, or do they recognize
    Prince as an equivalent?

I'd rather see an illusion by Mr Debbie Mcgee, old man. Happy birthday
    anyway.
