Pah, you can go jogging without giving yourself a black eye, I have no
    sympathy.

unfortunately, for this plan, I only have one peer in the London
office, and that's a straight woman.

I had a double-whammy last week - palmed one useless tosser off, and
    had another one resign.
    good call.

On a similar note, selling my flats means I'll have a bit of cash
floating around. Now this is obviously going towards the new gaff but
after the hassle I've had with the buyer, solicitors etc. I think I
    deserve a treat.

Bike related, I'll be getting a new Arai but SWMBO said at the weekend
words to the effect of "you've been after a new watch for a while - why
not give yourself a budget of £500 and get a nice one".[1]

    So what to get?

[1] Note to Champ: there's not a lot of point in you partaking of this
    particular sub-thread, OK?)

Jeez - I hope we're not about to see Bear's ugly mug on 15ft high
    billboards all over the shop.

    15ft high?

    1:2 scale might do it.

LOL .. **** me, any chance you could find some new material, because it
looks like you have half a dozen stock rejoinders, and that's about it.

it would certainly scar my walk to work if they put it on the side of
    their building.
