Noted.. I'll look one up tomorrow.
Yes.. I like a good purchasing experience too, knowing the person doing
the selling has product knowlege and experience is nice. When I bought
my Canon A95 digital camera after Xmas from Jesops, the geeza behind the
counter was great. He showed me a range of cameras in my price range,
and I felt as though I wasn't hurried along either.

Big and tough in my case. I have a record for destroying them. Plus I have
wrists that can carry a substantial watch.
Each to their own. I *like* watches. I have my Citizen for everyday, the
Accurist that was a wedidng present, my grandfather's old Mondial (left to
me in his will) and a Rotary reversing thingy for 'dress'
Rado, Patek Philippe, Logines, Jaeger Le Coulture and Omega constellation
    spring to mind.

I prefer metal for just that reason. My Rotary has a leather strap, but
with a pointlessly complex clasp which means they charege £80 for a new
    strap.
That assumes that I ever wear it out and that when I do, the jewelller that
supplied it is no longer a client :)

I suspect it's more that they have a waiting list and one bloke with a
cloth than that it takes 2-3 months. I tried the "I'll give it to you on
10 weeks and you can give it back 2 weeks later" but the process
    couldn't cope

One of my Casio G-shock's have. £3.95 and 10 minutes sorted it.

My Kawasaki MotoGP G-shock watch is going fine. Though it is a tad
    green.

Once again auvache finds himself in the minority.

    I don't wear a wristwatch, haven't done for years. I do carry a pocket
watch though and my current one comes with a free mp3 player, an
internet browser and a phone, according to the instruction book. A bit
OTT I know but it works for me.

It's a quality watch that cost my ex about that 10 years ago. Since then
it hasn't needed anything more than batteries every 3 years. It hasn't
cost me a penny in straps or servicing and it has been worn quite a lot.

I've got one of those that Caz bought me. I have tried to destroy it
with a cricket bat, fixing it to the rear wheel of a mate's RM250 prior
to a race and generally abusing it over the last 6 or 7 yrs. It simply
    won't die!

It just needs a new battery every 2 years.

Oh my giddy aunt. This week's embarrassment of riches. As flash as a rat
with a gold tooth. Engineering aside, there's no way that collection could
be taken seriously - they're ludicrously blinged-up, they don't cost enough,
and "Principle Diamond Champagne Mother of Pearl Gold Tan"? FFS.

I took Solvol to mine to polish out the gold bits to stainless again. I
don't do bling. It's no flasher than many other watches I've seen worn
at BOSM or EOSM and it fits my narrow wrists well.
