  1. Very wise, old son, very wise.

Avoid the steam train museum. I'll be there, unless the bloody outlet place
    has taken all the parking.

Hardly likely. I have enough misery in my life without spending
    significant time in Swindon.

URL in reply to Ali, but I'm sure 'centre of Wroughton by lights' will
be good enough for you, being a local 'n' all. Park your bike round the
back by the trestle table & whoever's working the kitchen will keep an
    eye on it.
Why Chip? Art Deans have still got their (extremely good) Triumph
mechanic & all the special tools from when they were a Triumph dealer,
& Bike Treads are brilliant for MoTs, especially when they get to know
you. Art Deans will MoT it too, but they just take them to Bike Treads
    anyway.

Aye. It gets very busy on Fridays so if there's no free tables, ask for
Jackie & tell her I sent you, & she'll kick one of the regulars out to
make space. If there's no space in the carpark just block someone else
    in.

My only experince of Wroughton is riding through it on the way to
    somewhere more interesting..

I know where the Ridgeway Hospital is though.
Ah - I didn't know that. I feel a phone call to Art Deans coming on..
I used to buy tyres there when I was riding sportsbikes regularly.

  9. Have no fear - I *always* avoid[1] the steam museum..

    Phil.

[1] Having one older brother and an uncle who used to bore me rigid
with toy trains has left me with a profund lack on interest in trains..

Ah. Well if you're going from Old Town, keep going past the Ridgeway &
you'll get to a roundabout. Hang a right, straight over the next
roundabout, & you'll see the cafe on the left just before a set of
    traffic lights.

It's common usage therefore not "mis" usage. So that makes you a grumpy
    old git.

Funny you should say that... I nipped into Staples and that's just what I
bought. It was the only one that claimed to do WPA/WPA2 as well as WEP,
even though various web sites don't list it.

A little more expensive than web sites are doing it for, but there were no
    delivery issues.

  16. We actually ended up in Didcot, rather than closer to Wroughton. But I shall
    make sure we visit. <grin>
