Since I'm close, I thought it may be nice to meet up again at Calais. Fancy
meeting up at the same McD as last year?

Can you also not do the effort of losing me along the way to the hotel?
    :)

where's the best place to head for in Ypres/Ieper? Someone in another
place suggested the Lakenhalle on Grotemarkt

Surely a quick button press to select the tyre pressure display on the
instruments would have reassured you and enabled you to carry on without
    stopping?

<Baffled> Why would you want to ride all the way *past* the hotel to
    Calais then retrace your steps?

    Must be love...

If that's where you want to eat, then fine. Personally, I never go
    near them. Really.

I'm looking for restaurant guides, but I think my google-fu has been
    affected by my alcohol consumption.[1]

[1] The Doc's fecking about with my meds, with the result that I feel
like I'm speeding my brain out - not felt like that for about 24
years... now I know why I stopped. :-/

Why do you need a guide? What's wrong with the stumble-tours approach? It's
only a stop for a bite to eat, ffs.
Tell me about it. I came off beta blockers a while ago. Good: my blood
sugar is now way below mong level[0]. Bad: my blood pressure is not as well
    regulated on the newer drugs.

[0] apparently NICE reckons long term beta blocker use can cause diabetes

Wander down Grote Markt/Meensestraat looking in windows and at menus.
