Well lets get it in perspective. As Catman suggests the Breitling service
was a full refurb. It came back looking like the day I bought it. This was
after 6 years of wear on one battery. That includes a year of new warranty.
As I posted on 05/05/06 it failed shortly after that service. A15 min
conversation/wait in Dunn's Belfast and I walked out with a brand new
    Aerospace, no quibbles.

I never wore that particular watch, if you look at
    www.watchfinder.co.uk/Breitling/Aerospace-Watches/E79362-c11493-watch.aspx
    it is the same.

I have it sitting in the box and was thinking recently of selling it. Not
much use to you however as I'm not Tesco.

    That's the badger!
Though what I spotted is that I could probably pick up a pre-owned one
for less than I'd have to add to my Tesco vouchers to get one new. If
yours is going to get flogged, let me know

but do cash in those vouchers very soon as they will only get 75% of their
current value, when traded in for "rewards", after Dec 6th

I got mine changed last week and have until May to spend them on Eurotunnel
tickets or a car service at Nationwide.

Well it's been laziness to leave it lying in a box.
I'll probably try and get the battery replaced next week.

Be aware that as a watch, it's lovely and makes a statement.

It's not actually that great to use though. The crown (IMHO) is too
small and un-repsonsive to adjust the mode easily, and pulling it out to
(for example) set the timer needs the watch to come off.

    Not that I'd change mine.....

When I was a teen, my grandmother gave me an Omega Seamaster. After
30+ years, it went tits up. Rationally, I couldn't see spending 50-100
times more than what a Casio costs for something that doesn't have any
more functionality and isn't any more accurate. Now I buy a new Casio
every 7-10 years. But I don't wear any jewelry, so...
