You must have expensive chips in MK, I can get a full fish and chip
    supper for around £5 here.

Tasty things genuine Alpina's but if I flog the 7-Ser I've pretty much
decided on an LPG Omega Elite, just for a change.

£3.50 round the corner from me[1]. I suppose the extra is for delivery
then, you wouldn't want it to go cold on the way home would you?

[1] Absolute kin shite it is. The best local chips are 6 miles away in
    Vange.

Delivery? it's a 5 minute walk... Large fish, chips, and a large mushy
peas. I'm tempted y'know, but I may go get a take away curry instead.

<fx: thinks of kebab shop up at Bastille ...>[/QUOTE]

It's amazing the spread of the kebab, I rememeber finding a late night
Kebab shop when I was in Sydney, Aalthou at the same time was surprised
that Aussie fish and chip shops have completely missed 'the sell kebabs
    too' trick.

I never found anywhere that sold crocodile.

Yer modern chippy, of the type springing up everywhere round here but
here, seems to sell pretty much everything of that type and now throws
in delivery as part of the deal most of the time into the bargain.
    ISTM.

So, overcome by this sudden urge for a curry and remembering that I have
taken myself off spending restrictions for lent, I decided I would have
a look on the Intranetweb for a curry house local that I could get a
    menu from.

    http://www.locallife.co.uk/kosthuree/menu.asp

    is what I found.

WTF is "contemporary" Indian cuisine when it is at home? Chicken
Vindaloo and make it fucking hot not on the menu any more then?

Oh we ate loads of crock up in Port Douglas, not bad either, but in
Sydney the real revelation was moretam bay bug ravioli, dam that was good.

I did, and it's quite tasty too. [1]

[1] Is this the first thread with an almost genuine reason
    to talk about crocodiles?

I'm told it's like a slightly gamey chicken kind of taste, is that true?
Well it;'s the best excuse yet.

Yup,consistency and lookwise definitively chickenlike, but considerably
    more taste on it's own.
So you reckon we're not going into simonK's killfile yet?
