Reliable, comfortable and practical for long distance use.

However even though its faster, more efficient and handles better than
the earlier 8 valve lump I prefer the K100 to the K1100. I've not put
the K1100 back together completely (bodywork's still off) after
servicing it in July...

Still it's a shame to put a pristine bike on the road in the winter...
