    Did you end up doing much work using the Oracle UTL_HTTP procedures?

    Not really. I'm stuck until Oracle come up with a fix for the v3 SSL
    bug, & there's no sign of that happening anytime soon.

    I have an issue going on c.d.o.s at the moment regarding lack of
    examples of using these procedures - worryingly small number of hits on
    google...thanks anyway.

    I found a few examples on OTN but I was mainly interested in connecting
    to webservices & SOAP rather than sucking data. Good luck with
    c.d.o.s...
