Not had any further communication from you, about the rug. Do you still want it? Let me know, sharpish, or I'll offer it on to the next on the list. -- Cheers! Fr Jack 96 Tiger. FRJACKUKRM AT GMAIL DOT COM
Fate has conspired to **** me over with collecting it. My mate who was going to give me a lift managed to nadger his front suspension this very evening on his car, hitting an ULFO on the M6. Plus, Wescot Debt Services and the TV Licence has conspired to make me utterly skint in the meantime. It`s a bit unfair to take you up on your offer of dropping it off here when I can`t afford to make it worth your while in petrol and beer. Pass it over to the next chap, easier all round methinks! Cheers anyway,
In You'd be impressed. Shattered two wheels in the process. Serves me right for going to the NEC even though the F.O.A.K said twas crap. Heh. I`m nipping round to Petes tomorrow to give him a hand with whatever needs doing to the car. I`ll take my camera. )
In I'm sure Loz H will bring his camera with him. Soon as he does, they shall be published. Indeed, it was like being dragged round a shoe shop for four hours. "Oooh, a motorbike", "oh look, another shiny sprotsbike", "oooh, some power-ranger leather clothing, in sprotsbike colours", "Crash helmets, how amazing!", "another bearded 45 year old in a t-shirt with the word '****' written on!" I was merely interested in the Z1000 ( I likes them), and the lycra clad girlies trying to persuade fat blokes like me to spend lots of money on things like credit cards (which I'm not allowed). Spent most of the afternoon watching the Ghost Rider trailer thing. -- Pete M Ford Capri (ressurection starts soon) Sierra V6 2.9 4x4 Twin Turbo Estate (as above) COSOC #5 Scouse Git extraordinaire. Yup. I did enjoy the classic bikes, though - and the touring section. Bit of a mentalist that bloke (or blokes). -- Cheers! Fr Jack 96 Tiger. FRJACKUKRM AT GMAIL DOT COM
In Some of the stuff on the Nat. Motorbike Museum stand was nice, The new Triumphs looked like they could be a laugh as well. As for the appeal of a GSX-R 750 in "anniversary colours".. aren't nearly all of 'em blue and white anyway? Can filter a bit though.
Fr Jack says... Two blokes (so far). Blokey No.1 was killed, he did the whole of the first film but died during the filming of the second one. I'm not sure if his crash was filmed but it was a biggie. Blokey No.2 is still alive and is the main rider in the second film. I got this from our MD. He sponsored Blokey No.1 with our helmets for a while, they appear on the first video. Apparently no helmet will keep your head in one bit during a 150mph impact with a solid object.
