Tog's at Kempton Park at the moment and has found an original RD400
promotional leaflet for a yellow RD400, same as Hog has.

Get in touch ASAP with either TOG or myself if you want him to pick it
    up for you.

  4. Received.

Thought you might have wanted it.

Loads of stuff at KP, but couldn't find what I wanted. Just missed a
one-owner 17,000 mile GS500, very tidy, full history, which was snapped
    up for £500. Bloody bargain.

Took the Z650 out for the run. Attracted a few glances, it did.

Just to clarify, that wasn't me obviously. Just Stevens' posting using some
    of my details.

    Thanks anyway!
I just scored a set of 400D exhausts for £80 delivered. Not perfect but
    re-chrom-able

Blondie sold her clean but not perfect 2001/2 GS500 with 18,000 miles
yesterday for £915 via eBay. New tyres and MOT. It cost her a grand 12
months ago. I'm reading Parkers as circa £500 over real market values.

My second RD400 was a yellow D model identical to Hog's. I bought it off
my eldest sister when she got married the first time, the sale of her
bike paid for their honeymoon. She'd kept every bit of paperwork
relating to the purchase and servicing, including the brochure given to
her by Kelvin at Cosmopolitan Motorcycles in Sarf Lundun when she first
went looking for a new bike to replace her GT250. Kelvin became one of
my customers a couple of years ago and remembers selling that bike to my
sister back in 1978. I still have the brochure with his business card
    stapled to it.

You are entering the World of Loz, keep your hands inside the carriage
and do not attempt to touch anything. Some things will seem strange and
utterly meaningless coincidences will assume monumental significance 30
years later. You will find yourself in ownership of stacks of
vehicle-related paperwork and possess a photographic memory of every
vehicle you ever owned, yet be curiously unable to recall what colour
    shoes you are wearing.

You're about right. I have a memory that lets me remember obscure shite
from 25 years ago, but I'm fucked if I can recall what I ate for dinner
    yesterday.

I would be similar. I have no recollection of any phone number in my
Contacts list, if you tell me a number I can't retain it but I can
recite my National Insewrance number, Credit Card and bank account
    details.
