Hiya Loz. I've got an Akito based query, and while I know it's not your product, I'm wondering if you will have any idea as to the answer to this question. My (Blue/Black) Akito Python II died a month ago during a road polishing, so I bought a replacement via mail order which arrived today. I put it on, but noticed that it felt different. It says Python II on it like my last one (This one is just black) but it feels a lot lighter than the previous jacket and upon closer inspection the pockets no longer have a velcro top underneath the poppers, and there is no rear zip pocket. In addition to it feeling lighter, there was no armour for the spine and there's no zip pocket in the thermal lining where there was previously and I think that the velcro areas on the sleaves are also smaller. I've taken the back armour out of my old jacket and fitted into the new one (the rest of the armour is there as normal), but this jacket just feels lower quality than the last one, which had a firm feel to it - this one just feels a bit flimsy. Do you know if there are a variety of different breeds of the Python 2 (and were the old breeds higher quality) so I can see if I can source the previous model?
