I can't wait for the flurry of "I'm going on a track day, what do I need to

That would be worthy of a FAQ page, imho.

 

Wait until he realises he forgot to ask people which group
they want to be in - that should be fun to watch ...

 

More fun to watch those who mistakenly put themselves in the 'track
god' class.

Loz should just assign people to groups as he sees fit.

Loz will do nothing of the sort. Loz will leave it to whoever attends to
assess their own ability and book themselves into the group they think
suits them, to start with. I'm sure the No-Limits staff and insructors
will move some people into more suitable groups as the day goes on.

 

I want to start in slow, so I at least look mid-paced... hopefully.
