Advice, please! I've got to reupholster teh drivers seat on my
Morris. I've got the recovering kit, new foam and so on. Any tips or
    hints on fitting it?

Trim your fingernails. Don't push the D clips on fully until you're sure
you have the cover lined up because the little tangs cut the vinyl. If
you get stuck give me a shout and I'll guide you through it, but they
    arimple enough to do.

Are the covers glued down or do they just sit on the foams?

The material, it marks and gets scuffed easily when being pulled over by
    sharp nails.

There's also a rule I was taught: If it's so tight that you have to dig
your nails in to grip it, then something's wrong - take it off and start
    again.

Separate, just sit on the foam. There's a sort of horsehair pad for
    the squab.

By Squab, you mean the bit you sit on, not the backrest?

Hmm. I meant the back rest but it says 'squab' on the packet!

That's ok then, everyone usually gets the squab and cushion mixed up.
    You got it right.
