New around here, are you? Basically a reference to the fact that it's
"first come, first served" on handles. Mined you, this doesn't apply in
this case, as Nick uses "Salad Dodger" as a handle and JackH was
*whooshed*.

I thought Jack was calling Nick on the fact that he hadn't twigged SD's
little joke, but ICBW. It's not as if this thread hasn't become a

Look, it's like this:

Wessie said "Sort it out", then Nick asked "Sort What out?". Nick,
being a little green, spelled it out in response to Nick, thereby
eliciting JackH to spoil the Nickish flow of the thread by contributing
"NAHAY?".

Nick quite predictably asked for an explanation which Nick was happy to
provide. This explanation was, however queried by Nick who felt that
the motives for the NAHAY interjection had been different.

All in all it's without doubt the most singlemindedly Nickingly Nickish
thread to have featured in these parts for some time, and perhaps ever,
but then ICBA to check so ICBW.
