You ever get your CSS level 1 certificate like I thought we'd be getting to
prove we'd done it? Or any news on photos etc that the Dunlop guys said
they were going to try and organise?

Or, in fact. anything from them at all after the whole Moto1 ticket
    debacle[1]?

    Dave

[1] Well OK, not a debacle, bu it was a bit of a pain trying to eventually
get them to hand over 2 day passes. And by the time they decided that they
would it was too late for me to arrange to be in the UK.

I haven't mentioned it before but I rather liked the comments in Fast
Bikes about you and your attempt at the DSA road test on a Harley.

The article was in the December copy so I doubt if you'll be able to
stand in a newsagent and read it now and it'd be rude not to repeat
it. It was written by someone taking part in the ultimate biker tests.

    Re test:

several are caught out, but Daytona 955 rider Dave Haines, from Derby,
took the biscuit. Having failed with, amongst other misdemeanours, at
least two major faults for ignoring a stop sign and failing to manage
a feet up U-turn, all dignity was discarded in the car park as he
wailed for a retest. It was truly selfless of him to give us all such
    a good laugh.

I replied to the mag about that...

Haven't got the e-mail but basically it was

    "Thanks for the mention.

Shame Jay made up the bit about the wailing (the fail bit is true though,
although to be fair I *did* stop. I just didn't put my foot down...) - I
would've preferred it if he'd written what I asked about me being the first
    crasher.

    And the second.

Then again he has got to work for a living so maybe making things up is
    better.

See you all in S/W France for a few glasses of wine next time Jay wants to
outbrake himself trying to overtake me, eh?

    Pip pip.

    Dave"

I think he just got a bit upset about looking a twat when he tried to take
me at Silverstone going into a hairpin - he could outride me everywhere but
just completely fucked up showing off to the instructors. So I told
everyone back in the cafe. Don't think he liked that much.

It was either the sarky e-mail or libel court and, even if I won that (which
I guess I could) they'd have just taken the piss more, so I opted for the
    e-mail.

Dave doesn't appear to think so. I'd been keeping it back so he'd
think nobody had read it :)

I'd never have done it though if you hadn't asked.

Nidge did... The bastard just said we were in the mag so I spent my own
money on a copy (sealed, wasn't it, see, so I couldn't flick through before
purchase) so I could read the bit where I was the only contestant to have
the piss ripped out of me.... :((

    I'll never get over this.

That J he bad man i report his to cahors gendarmy in morning and they start
    up file on hime
