Of course I have but you didn't seem capable of posting replies
without the use of comments like the one quoted below
As far as puerile comments go that's a pretty good starting point.

Couple that with your recent comments to Adie (yes, I know you
apologised and that was more than most would have done) it just seemed
as if you're a bit stressed hence the fucked in the head comment. When
I've got a lot on my plate I often comment that my head's fucked but
that's obviously not how it was taken.

I can see where you're coming from on this but I think it was more a
case of the government saying "look, we're can carry out precision
bombing raids" and keeping civilian morale at an all time high (well,
sort of) rather than saying "we're giving it our best shot and we're
killing a few Germans whilst we're doing it" type of thing.

I've nothing but admiration for what the RAF achieved over that period
of the war and as far as I'm concerned anything that speeded up the
end of the war was a good thing but I'm sticking to my view that what
the RAF carried out wasn't precision bombing.

Adie and I visited the largest one of the RAF war grave sites last
year to take a few photos of my uncles (1) grave and it was an eye
opener. The Germans do a wonderful job of looking after the site and
though the majority of people visit the WWI sites and they're heart
stopping places the RAF one is somewhere more people should visit.

    (1) Airborne infantry. A lot of paras who were dropped into Holland
and Germany towards the end of the war ended up buried alongside the
RAF crew who died during the bombing campaign.

Not to worry, it's only an opinion etc.

It's a lot of bickering for two decent blokes who have been mates a loooong
    time IMHO
