paging Ogden

I've done a bit of research into the pub situation and might have to
investigate the Alexandra followed by All Bar One on my journey to
SW19. Any more suggestion? I'm leaving an hour early to allow plenty
of time rather than rush things and potentially miss out on a decent
pint.

 

It's a while since I've been boozing in Wimbledon, but I can't remember
any really decent pubs.

 

I'd take my own and sit on my holdall on a street corner but I don't
want to be mistaken for a local.

 

There's another pub just before the Alexandra, but I've never been in
it. I'm afraid there are only three pubs in the 300 yards or so between
the station and my gaff.

I'll be leaving here at 5 on the dot, so should be home about 45 minutes
after that.

Might be there myself after about 10.00pm this evening. It's a long
walk from the Village, mind.

Is that the one your bike club meets at?

 

I haven't heard anything from him. And it'd mean doing something, rather
than sitting at home feeling sorry for himself, plotting ill-conceived
hangliding adventures in the Amazon basin. So probably not.
