Paging Packer - Kempton Park

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by The Older Gentleman, Sep 18, 2010.

  1. The October KP is the one that clashes with the Stafford Show, and it's
not a good idea to go to that one, because attendance is usually poorish
    and the punters are elsewhere.

The December jumble is a much better bet. It depends on the weather, of
course, but if it's fine it's absolutely jam-packed because it's the
last chance to get your bits for the winter project before Christmas.

I'm going to book a pitch - you want in?

    Hmm...

I have a large collection of assorted old shit (including a complete,
stripped GL1000). Worth doing KP with?

It's probably that control freak's fault in the first place.

Hates natural talent, and always has, the squeaky voiced fucker.

  11. Assorted shit is always worth doing. A complete stripped Wing probably
isn't because you'll only sell it to the one bod there who actually
wants a Wing. Much better to out that on eBay.

But assorted stuff - yes, it broadens your portfolio IYSWIM.

Want to share the pitch with Packer and I?

  15. D'you want to stop over at the Chateau the night before? It's a good
idea to get there nice and early becaue (as with boot sales) a lot of
the serious business is done before the gates open to the public.

Just checking, this is the 4th, yes? It's just been pointed out to me
that I'd have to bale out mid-afternoon. I assume that's not a major
    problem?

  18. No. People start packing up around 2pm and it's generally pretty much
    finished by 3pm.
