Paging peeps that know how to deal with ebayers

I sold my jacket on ebay, it was exactly as described and now the seller
is saying it's too big for him. I described it as a large and the tags
on the jacket said so.

Thing is, now he's saying a bike instructor mate of his says it'll ride
up if he crashes, and is awaiting my comments.

Thing is, I never had a jacket ride up in the 100s of thousands of miles
I've ridden and crashed, but more to the point I think he's trying to
get out of it now and doesn't like it and wants a refund.

I don't want to give him a bloody refund, I sold the jacket with a good,
honest description with absolutely no room for ambiguity. I also said in
the auction to email me with any questions.

What do you reckon?

 

That's entirely his problem.
Politely point out that it is exactly as you described and leave it at that.

How did he pay? If it was by paypal he may try and lie about the jacket to
do a chargeback.

Tell him to **** off. If you said you're selling a large jacket and he
gets one, its his. Tell him he is free to sell it on to anyone else.

Many ebay buys and sellers are just cunts. I sold a mobile last month,
paid £5 to unlock it first though. He got it and then claimed it was
locked and he had to pay £20 to the guy in a market to unlock it...
Worked fine with my tmobile, virgin, orange and os sims when I tested
it... he demanded I refund £20 and some compensation. ****.

 

Don't bother replying to that point, it's not relevant.

You said in the auction description it was large, inform him of that and
you do not intend to offer a refund. If he feels he has a problem
suggest he takes it up with ebay, and leave it at that.

It's what I'd do in your position.

too. Just never had it happen to something that was so obviously honest.

A UK Large might be XL in another country and therefore the jacket may have
a label saying XL.

 

I suggest you invite him to take a long running jump. Is your eBay id
MarksandSpencers or not?

Since you know it is marked as a large, and he also knows it, and he is
trying to claim otherwise... you _both_ now know full well that he's a
lying sack of shit, so you can tell him with a clear conscience to do
whatever he likes with his new jacket.

Why would he bother to send a picture, when you know and he knows it will
be a fake? The only answer is that he is an idiot.

 

Ask him what bike he rides.

He might have one of those kind that only fat cunts ride, if he does them
tell him he just needs to put on a bit more weight then the jacket will fit
better.

You could use on of the spare pairs to snip the sigs of those to whom
you reply, with a bit of thought, couldn't you?

Hint: a few lines above, just below the item number quoted: the
dashdashspace bit - that's a sig separator and you need to remove it
and everything below it; unless you are specifically commenting on it.
