I think she looks rather vicious.

  3. Very nice!
She's a tortie mate - when you least expect it she'll be feasting on
yer liver with a nice vintage bottle of milk to wash it all down..

  4. Forgot to mention - we bought one of those radiator hammock-things for
previous cats and they wouldn't go near it.

Current ones won't either - unless we pad it out with cushions!

We got for our last cat, he took to it straight away and was never out
    of it.

This one found it quite quickly and really seems at home in it.

  6. Pah. Lesser species need not apply. Our dogs fear the Power of the
    Paw..

What flavour are they? Cocker Spaniel?

  7. With our previous tom that would have resulted in serious vets bills
for your dog. He *hated* dogs right up until about a year before he
    died.

Ours learnt to never go anywhere near him. And that includes both our
Rottie-crosses (who could have both quite easily killed him if they
    tried).
He didn't play that game - he played do-as-much-damamge-before-dying
game. And he was a *big* cat - he outweighed our Dachsund and was
taller than our Staffie/JR cross. Our Alsation/Rottie still has small
scars on his muzzle from trying to taunt him as a young dog.

Our new kittens though love dogs! The younger one in particular seems
to view the staffie cross as her mother.
Cat who lives over the back knows that it doesn't work with Staffie/JR
crosses either - when he was chasing our (then) 16-year old female and
our Staff/JR intervened he ran up the fence, turned at the top to
insult her and then realised that she was almost at the top of the
    fencepost after him..

I've never seen a cat move so fast.
Hmm.. I'm a hound person myself.
