Hmmm, I'd disagree. You may get a shitty one for that money, or one, like AndrewRs that's due the 'how fucking much?' cambelt change. But a good one, with a recent belt change, would sell for double that.

That has a lot of miles on it - I'm not sure I'd be 100% happy with one that has over 100k miles. You're in the right ball-park for a decent one at £2.5k, though. Ahhh, that does make a difference - I still say you're under-valuing it by a fair bit. Nah, that should be fine for a while longer - the 5-pot belts don't tend to let go early. I was just assuming yours was due one, as the handbook shows them due at 72k miles.
The experience of the owner's club is that the care taken of the car is far more important than the mileage. Besides, the sub-100k ones are getting hard to come by these days.
