WTF is the registration of my BMW - is it YLX522X?
yes, yes, yes, but what is the character before the 22X bit? I'm 99% sure it's 5, but I can't find the V5 and need to let the insurance company know (my old insurers renewal document has all the bikes listed as having the same reg (as the 'blade)).
darsy () gurgled happily, sounding much like they were saying : www.vehiclelicence.gov.uk YLX522X is a 650cc red BMW - which hasn't been SORNed or taxed since 2003...
How can you tell that last bit? I just did a lookup on our Volvo, which is on Swiss plates now but is still listed by DVLa, as I never bothered to tell them it'd been exported. It simply lists status as 'unlicensed'. Oh, it shows 'date of liability' as 2002. Is that the last time it was SORNed/taxed then? They're cunts anyway. Making you re-SORN a vehicle every year is unfair. It means that if/when I re-import it to sell in the UK I'm going to have to do a lot of explaining. -- _______ ..'_/_|_\_'.
