    HI mate,
    Guzzi Mille GT, Any good?

Local stealer has an 89 G reg on in, looks decent condition, (no rot to
exhausts, paint and stickers all orig, good seat, chrome all looks decent
    etc)for just under £1500

Anything I should look for? Is that a decent price?

    Cheers matey

Yes, that's a good price, assuming it's not intergalactic mileage (and
even that doesn't matter much for a Guzzi). Mille GT is one of the
nicest Guzzis of the era - a real back-to-basics one like the T3, and
devoid of the horrible 16-inch front wheel they flirted with in the
    mid-1980s.

Check the UJ isn't rumbling (get a test ride, and if you can feel a
vibration through your right foot on the over-run, that means it's on
the way out). Have a squint at things like gearbox and bevel box drain
plugs to make sure no dork has stripped the threads (easily done) and
    secured them with Araldite.

Mileage is 42K indicated, nowt to suspect otherwise. Test ride booked for
in 30 mins. I'll check that UJ and the plugs thanks. Seems a nice straihgt
bike. All alloy in good condition (non tarnished). I might be teh owner by
    the time I report back.

    Cheers
