Not sure I'm altogether happy with the concept of the ancient one
being an ancestor.

 

WASP immigrants in the towns and inbred ignorant carrot crunching yokels
outside of them and each and every last one a fucking right wing nutter
tory in training and plod have to pander to them.

Senior plod is well aware of his fortune, just that he seems to have
forgot that The Supreme Being is a fairy tale not the master of his lodge.

 

Happy or not, now there is many generations I *am* ancestor and a bit of
honouring as befits my status from the likes of you lot wouldn't go amiss
either.

only. It's nothing to do with any law, it's a condition of the lease

I've no objection to that - the s/h value might be a bit less for a
smokey one with fag burns, especially now, where the previously bouyant
used market amongst thousands of busy builders etc has gone way down.
Fair enough for that reason.
The ludicrous thing is, in my own van I could be pulled over and
according to the letter of the similar law in Ireland, I believe I could
be done for smoking in my workplace - although I've not heard of anyone
being done for it yet, it might happen.

 

It is worse than that. Friday evening I had my second telephone interview
with some **** paid to find out my opinions on how plod behaved after the
spazztrakka was nicked.

"It will only take 15 minutes," he said.

An hour and a half later he finally managed to get to say goodbye with the
comment "Thanks that has been most educational and quite funny."

The best bits were where he had to type in my comments to questions, which
I discovered he had to do if the answer to his questions were either
"unsatisfied" or "not completely satisfied". These being the only other
answers allowed other than "completely satisfied" during the whole survey.

I didn't have to take the piss, honesty and counting to 3 before answering
was enough. Frinstance: consider the Internet and the proper answer to
"how many times a day do others try to commit crimes against you"

I think though that in the light of the news about them coming after
smokers in that way that a few letters to members both right and
honourable and editors and such like from this space pointing out where I
know they could better spend your tax money are going to happen. Have no
fear your liberties are in my hands.
