  2. I agree; not very. I knew a lassie who had a bit of a facial hair
problem - most days it was ok when she remembered the Gillette, but some
days it was like a stair carpet.

'Cos they make women look like little girls.

If I may put it in aeronautical terms, a neatly mown runway, with a
bare landing strip at the end, is much nicer IMHO.

You say that like it's a bad thing...
ITYF that completely weed-free tarmac is better.

    Regular mowing easily resolves that.

  11. Oh, I thought you might be a fan of the poodle-on-the-lap look.

    Furry muff then.

HEH! "Furry muff then"! I kill me sometimes.

Er, he means 'doesn't'. I have told him lots of times that he can have
a beard if he wants it but, every time he starts to grow one, he asks
me if it looks good, I say no, he shaves it off.

unlike the superb stuff Thatchers produce.Went to their open day
yesterday- free tour round the orchards/factory etc.
Then to the sampling - nothing like standing around in the
sunshine, next to the cider marquee with the whole range of their
ciders to taste. Just as well I wasn't driving.

The shop sells their whole range as well as the traditional scrumpy
which is sold by filling up a 2 litre plastic bottle straight from the
    barrel.

I feel a UKRM sponsored outing might be arranged soon...

    http://www.thatcherscider.co.uk/

Off to try some Oak Matured which they condition in rum barrels (hic)

  20. Days? I think you mean weeks..

There is of course the other reason - not having to shave and hence not
looking like something on a butchers slab...
