Both the original P8s and the current 4 pot ones on my Guzzi have
gunmetal coloured pistons. Either way they've not seized or had to be
    rebuilt.

Ah yes I recall now, another good reason not to buy from them.

  4. I'd buy from Flitwick every (other) day of the week. I phone up for
something and they know my name. must be the accent or summat.

I was going to suggest lunch in Chinatown but both Monday and Tuesday
lunch periods are full of meetings.

This is going to be a fraught session. Rather too much riding on one
commercial partnership agreement for my liking.
Staying at the Thistle City Barbicon, better be nice, at least it has
    a pool.

  8. Oh well sounds like you're going to be busy the whole time. It would
have been nice to have said hello.

Heh, I called in there yesterday to pick up an air filter for the Zephyr.

Outside the parts store there was a clearly disgruntled punter stood next to
his (I assume) gleaming MV F4.
I didn't manage to earwig much of the conversation, but he was clearly
pissed off about some aspect of his purchase (he seemed to share your POV
about the sales operation), and the staff member taking all the crap seemed
powerless to make the guy feel happier.

    Ho hum, happy days.
