[This is not a test post] If you can see the sililar post I made > 2
hours ago you can buy me a pint.

    Anyhow:

t appears that bonfire season is upon us again. [1]

Any BOTMers, Sussex types up for a bonfire? Key dates are:

    Hastings: Oct 14th

Icklesham [Usually Nov 5th] [2] Tho others may prefer Lewes.

    Rye Nov 11th,

There are others but I'll be at those.

[2] I will not be wearing tights this time :-(

  2. In uk.rec.motorcycles, prawn belched forth and ejected the following:
I'd like to do this one, cannot confirm yet, however.
The 5th might be tricky because of work commitments. Getting a day off
on Monday only won't be hard if there are enough people in to cover my
    absence.

Did you enter the Snowdrop[1] the other day? I can heartily recommend.

I'll probably turn up for the November one. I have no interested in
Icklesham and will be in London on Oct 14th so will not attend that
    one either.

I'm surprised he's with another bird at all, let alone one long enough
for her to have preferences on holiday destinations. How time flies.

I'm down for my mum's birthday that weekend, so will have the extended
family in tow. Let me know where you are and hopefully I'll be able to
show my face for a swift couple at some point. Apparently the "Cosmo
Oriental Buffet" (ugh) is on the agenda that night as well.

Hmmm. I've been there a couple of times and it seemed full of pikeys
intent on taking full advantage of the all you can eat aspects of the
buffet experience. The food was edible thobut. 1/10 for atmosphere.

OK, I'll arrange something no doubt.

Aye. 'Tis the highlight of the year. As an aside the pubs take three
times more takings on 'Bonfire Night' than on New Years Eve. It is
also *loud* which the pictures never convey.
    Wot he says,

It was round about 4 Oct 2006 11:53:06 -0700,, when the famed prawn
of the dreaded http://groups.google.com was struck by a sudden
    insight:
Is it obligatory to travel by motorcycle, or is it acceptable to con
one's SO into driving so one can get pissed? Just asking, like.

Nope. I shall be going to Hastings on Public Transport and prolly
getting a cab home. Icklesham I shall be going on the widow licker
express ^W^W^W community transport bus and Rye is quite litterally on
    my doorstep.
