Am in Valencia for the footy. Just wanted to say thanks for your rainy grey
weather - it really makes us feel at home. Now, where can I get a plate of
egg and chips and several litres of beer?

Heh, we are having a nice 7 months run of rain (nice after a 3 years
    drought).
    "Mercadona" (sort of Sainsbury)

At the street that starts just perpendicular to the stairs of the
central market, on the left side, there is a tapas place, pikey
looking, great tasting. Just don't say I sent you there.

Time for dinner? "La Torrrija" for traditional food, "La sargantana"
    for creative food.

Also Roberto's which is maybe 2 or 3 blocks West of the Oceanográfic,
somewhere. Great paella. Opens at 21:30.

Unfortunately by the time I saw your post, I'd dived into the nearest
McDonalds for cover from the torrential rain. But next time. Shame as I had
passed by there on my walkabout.
Nono, we get herded onto the coach after the match and are currently on the
autovia going back towards Valencia airport, where we'll be boarding at gate
    B6. Spooky.

Dago summer feasts use the litre as the standard for plastic glass of beer.
