    I don't think I could burp after G&B. It's usually more like a
    contented murmur.

Home Bargains have got Walkers Brandy Licquer chocolates (expiry this month
though) in for 88p a box. Beat that. I've eaten a box in one day already.

  5. Expiry dates on chocolate can be taken with a massive pinch of salt (as
    it were).

Chocolate lasts for years and years. You might get a slight bloom on
it, after a very long time or in warm temperatures when the fat rises to
the surface, but apart from that, no worries.

    I've actually eaten 90 year-old chocolate.

That may be so, but we've seen what you look like and what sort of
    things you buy. No TYVM.

    ridiculous.

  10. In the Boer War, Queen Victoria gave a tin of chocolate to every soldier
in South Africa. The tins turn up in antique shops all the time.

My mate Niall - his parents had one. Incredibly, it still had the
chocolate inside it, in individual finger-sized bars, wrapped in silver
foil. His Dad had peeled off the foil from one to try it, and invited me
    to do the same.

It's not every day you get this sort of opportunity. It was as dry as
    dust, but still perfectly edible.

Niall's dad died some years ago, but his Ma still has the tin AFAIK. I
think the tins themselves go for £20-£40, but what one would fetch with
the chocolate still inside is anyone's guess.

Have you tried the ice cream? I'm trying to resist the cookies but I
feel my will weakening each time I see them.

Yes - both the vanilla and dark chocolate. Neither of them lasted very
    long.
I haven't seen the cookies. Yet. I may well be conducting some
research in the very near future.

You've still got too much Jim Davidson in your vocabulary. It's "black".

    And "G-MILF"...

Is that the 100g bars? These are the "organic" ones (I don't know if they
    all are).
