I thought you meant one of these.

It looks like they stopped making them in 2006.
    True.

Sorry - me being thick! I'll pass, thanks - but we'll pop down to York
    anyway once mobile again.

I'm feckin confused now. I mean to ride it, try it for size. This one is
probably taken somewhere between Statto, Wessie, Darsy, Timo et all.

BTW Timo the new one has a fuel computer so I've ridden like you today. That
is to say keeping it to or under 6000rpm and 110ish. Woohoo 60 mpg. That's
well over 200 miles to a tank. The previous owner of the red one did say
IIRC that he got over 200 miles.

Ah. Well I won't be able to do that for a while, so it'll probably be
    gone by then!

The 1200 was too tall in the seat. The beauty of the ZZR1100 for short
arses like me was the eccentric chain adjusters - you could turn them
through 180 deg and drop the seat height by about 2 inches. The 1200
had pull-back style chain adjusters which meant the seat height wasn't
    adjustable.

Just grow a bit then, you stumpy little fucker. Nearly all bikes are too
low for me because they are being manufactured with the stumpy in mind...

Most of the Japanese are stumpy little fuckers.

BM's are mostly made for 6 foot Germans :)

Not had experience of Italian stuff (except the F650 below but that's 1/3
    kraut/brit/eytie anyway)

... and after my recent test of a HD in the US yank stuff is fucking foul.

That's a classic, coming from you. Don't know how much this will mean
to you, but when I read Pratchett and come across Cpl C W St John
Nobbs, aka Nobby, it's your visage that always pops up into my mind.

And he needs to carry a certificate to prove he's part of the human

I was treated by a kind UKRM'er last year to a CIHAGM on his. I was
checking whether to get one after the 12R.

Amazingly the feel and the power delivery were not that dissimilar
between the two, just the riding position was slightly lower on the
    'busa.

Since i've been 'market downturned' plans to change bikes have been
shelved for a while, in favour of consolidating the fleet. So it's bye
    bye ZX12 and CCM R30.

    Cheers,

    Paul.

Ah yes? I didn't guess that you were from the South. I'll have to
listen to your accent a bit better next time. :)

As to the OP's Q, same here, but not too far from Tarbes.
