Paging the Hayabusaisti

Was that one of you fuckers going south from Bedford on the A6 on Wednesday
around 6 o'clock? If so, I was the black bike in your rear view mirror
giving it *almost* everything just trying to keep up :-(

When I was giving the Busa the beans last weekend there was a Triumph
that insisted on sticking to my tail.

Mind you, that was an old git on a Bonnie

Yebbut in the real world there is the small matter of other traffic. This
has the unfortunate characteristic of getting in your way and slowing you
down. And the clearway you have just carved through the preceding mayhem is
perfect for a less powerful bike to stay flat out for longer and reel you
in. That's how it's always been ...

I kept up with Bonwick and Daz on my Guzzi - it can be done.

Daz followed me once and slowed down because he was concerned about "the
shapes" - not sure if that's something to be proud about.
