  4. Share my pain. TF, some of the culchie drivers are out of the country
    for a while, at least. I find Dublin and Cork motorists are a bit more
    clued-up, and certainly more bike aware.

    Leave it where it is if you don't need it.

    I got royally screwed transferring my euros back to the UK. I opened a
    currency (i.e. euros) current account with a UK bank, and the twats in
    Italy 'helpfully' converted it to Sterling for me in the transfer.

    The bastards. I'd have much preferred to choose the time I converted
    (if at all, if the French Bolthole comes off), for obvious reasons.

    Pretty much what I saw in Italy, which is why I was mildly surprised
    that the French etiquette permits more than perfunctory lip to cheek
    contact between the greeters ...
