Paging the newer-BMW-lovehateisti

    Good bikes with only one real drawback, assuming no ABS, vibration. Try
    before you buy, they can be very harsh, particularly through the footpegs. I
    found said pegs to be insanely high and uncomfortable too.

    ps. the Ducati ST4-S is a far better bike than the R1100S in every respect
    IMHO

    You didn't even try it!

    I'm hopefully going to spend a couple of days debauching with Bear in the
    not too distant future. There is no secure bike parking at his gaff. I could
    leave the ST4S with you for the weekend, get it on your insewrance and Bob's
    your cross dressing auntie.

  5. Indeed - what's more scary is that every time I see a photo of him he
    looks like the arch criminal from a James Bond film. I'm dreading the
    shot of him with a white cat on his lap ;-)
