Paging the pedanticisti: "fustian"

Does anybody actually use this word? If so, I think I'll adapt the text
from Richard Dooling and use it to reply to IT ultimate solution
sellers.

Fustian derives from Old French fustaigne, from Medieval Latin
fustaneum, but its precise roots beyond that point are uncertain.
