That was supposed to be pinlockisti, but I prefer my misstype

Anyway, I'm enjoying the delights of my new Arai, and it's the first lid
I've had with one of those pinlock anti-fog things.

For stopping fogging it seems to do the trick, but for straight forward
looking through it's a bit crap, like peering out through a net curtain.
Visibility is definitely impaired especially in low light conditions,
like you get in winter/spring/autumn when you want anti-fog.

So what's the norm? Get used to it? Carry it about and only use it under
optimun conditions? Bin it and open the visor at junctions? I'm tempted
to take it out at the moment as I'm preffy non-plussed with it at the mo.

Ha. I was going to ask that.
I moved to pinlock recently courtesy of a new lid and can't honestly
say I've noticed any difference in clarity, even in low light. I find
the top edge is sometimes in my eyeline though, but that's something
    I've got used to.

<adopts quiet voice> I rode several miles in my new Shoei before
wondering why it seemed so foggy ...

I'm not sure what's worse, discovering that I've left the protective
film on or watching T try to type.

Actually, I do know and it's got nowt to do with protective films

It is better than ending every sentence with a question mark, though.
    To be fair.

Fair sets my teeth on edge, it does. Teenage-girlisms like that and
the unfortunate practice of ending every sentence with an exclamation
mark do. Can these people not make do with a full stop, like the rest
    of us?

I know what you've done and I eventually removed it in disgust.
Then one day I found myself studying it and the awful truth dawned on me
that it was not tinted a pee green colour......................:(

It didn't for me. My Arai with pinlock misted up on a misty drizzly
day on the mountain on Pahnd Island.

    Pissed off, I was.
