Paging the pinlockisti.

Since I couldn't see through it anymore, I washed my visor, dried it and
finally fitted the pinlock whatsit.

The destructions say 'don't use at night'.... What am I about to ride
into? The morning commute is lovely and bright, but the ride home is
dark, but streetlit.

Do I really need to rip it off to ride home, or are they any oddities I
might be able to compensate for with prior warning? I assume it doesn't
modulate headlights into laser beams.

 

You get a bit of double edging, but i used mine at night.

 

I fitted one last autumn. The first few dark evenings were weird as there
are some distortions. By the third week of dark rides I hardly noticed as
you filter out the unimportant bits.

 

I found when I had to do that it was new visor time. The anti-fog insert
was fine.

You'll be fine as long as you stay away from the sharks with frikin
lasers mounted on their heads.

This is why ukrm is gold.
It's way less yellow and wrinkly looking now, and I'm far less
disappointed with the view that lead me to post in the first place.

They're bloody good, aren't they?
Lashing rain, and a totally clear visor apart from the raindrops on the
outside. It would have been hell with a steamy visor.
I am happy, and it only took me 2 years and making a fool of myself to
get it fitted.
