Paging the Portsmouth-France ferry users

    Ufff! i nearly have a heart attack till i could read the notice.
    I'm leaving on Monday from Portsmouth to Le Havre

    Yes, that's what we are thinking. Portsmouth-Cherbourg is ideal for us.
    Providing it's not a complete junk, has reasonable sailing times and
    prices, then we'll give it a try.

    As the next clique trip is likely to be going down W France to the Pyrenees
    and/or Picos de Europa, the increase in options would be good as none of us
    like that run to Kunt.

    <googles> fark, the Picos looks a fair old trek. There are several
    ukrm-owned stopping off places on the way there/back thobbut.

    Distance wise, the Pyrenees and Picos are in the same ball park as Austria.

    One plan would be to head for the Massif Central and maybe have a day or
    two there before moving west. I'd certainly like to see the Millau viaduct
    & Gorges du Tarn which would be on the way. For a week long trip a few days
    in the Pyrenees. If the trip is 10 or 14 days then the Picos could be
    incorporated.

    Although, for me, it probably won't be possible to contemplate such a trip
    until the spring of 2012.
