Ufff! i nearly have a heart attack till i could read the notice. I'm leaving on Monday from Portsmouth to Le Havre Simon Wilson escribió:
Yes, that's what we are thinking. Portsmouth-Cherbourg is ideal for us. Providing it's not a complete junk, has reasonable sailing times and prices, then we'll give it a try.
As the next clique trip is likely to be going down W France to the Pyrenees and/or Picos de Europa, the increase in options would be good as none of us like that run to Kunt.
<googles> fark, the Picos looks a fair old trek. There are several ukrm-owned stopping off places on the way there/back thobbut.
Distance wise, the Pyrenees and Picos are in the same ball park as Austria. One plan would be to head for the Massif Central and maybe have a day or two there before moving west. I'd certainly like to see the Millau viaduct & Gorges du Tarn which would be on the way. For a week long trip a few days in the Pyrenees. If the trip is 10 or 14 days then the Picos could be incorporated. Although, for me, it probably won't be possible to contemplate such a trip until the spring of 2012.
