Paging the SLRisti: Waterproof covers?

  1. I've used my 40D in the cold, snow and the rain without any issue.

    I see that Canon have just announced the new 60D - looks like a very
    interesting camera. I feel the pangs of temptation already starting.

    I see that Canon have just announced the new 60D - looks like a very
    60D vs 7D though?

  3. Well yes but the 60D looks like an interesting blend of functionality.
    I'll wait and read some reviews. Given my worse than darsy inability to
    decide how to spend money I'll probably decide to buy one in 2015 ;-)
    By that time Canon will be on the 80D.

    Has it got wet though? I've read that the 'joystick' is a particular area for
    concern.
    I'm not so sure. Smaller plastic body, slower fps, change to SD card memory and
    a swivel screen. Sounds more like an upgrage from a 550D than a 40/50D.

    For the price difference I'd go down the 7D route.

    Wait a while, this bad boy will be around soon;

    Probably, unsuprisingly, not cheap.
